Since the launch of Tavik Swimwear in 2010, the Orange County based label has made a place for itself in the swimwear industry as a brand to watch. In keeping with the trend, this year designer Nicole Hanriot has worked hard to create a look that embodies the California beach babe lifestyle with an edge that girls everywhere can enjoy. Tavik Swimwears 2011 collections showcase the brands unique, and some might say daring, sense of style and trending. Any girl that can appreciate creative fashion can see that Tavik Swimwear is a step ahead of the game. The spring collection boasts of bright colors, geometric prints, and chic neon lace, in a combination of styles that any shape would agree with. The one-piece, a trend that is not expected to fade any time soon, made an appearance in the spring collection as well with a few different style options, each one different, but all as sexy and flattering alike. To top it off [literally] all-over lace tunic cover ups and shorts, easy to wear but always flawless. The summer collection features bright floral and fun animal prints, pastels, and timeless black styles with that fun and fresh feel that sets Tavik Swimwear apart. Making its debut in the summer collection is the strapless underwire push-up top, its goal to add shape where the average [yet completely necessary to any collection] bandeau tends to lack. To ensure that you feel sexy and ready to take on the world, Tavik Swimwear provides an array of styles for all. Moderately cut bottoms for those who prefer a little more coverage, and Brazilian for the girl that likes to show a little more skin, tie-sides, and hot-shorts too. For the other half, a variety of styles to choose from like the crowd favorite triangle top, bandeau for the tanning babe, and bralette for style with comfort and ease. Every woman is unique and because we want you to feel your best Tavik Swimwear is designed to mix and match, styles, prints, textiles, and sizes to find the look that defines you. As an element of Tavik [Mens], Tavik Swimwear can be not only seen as a swimwear brand, but a lifestyles brand. This brand was built on these fundamentals: love of the ocean, music, friends, and life. The girl who slips into these fun pieces will see and feel just that. Although relatively new to the swimwear scene, you might have spotted Tavik Swimwear playing with the best of them. Featured multiple times in the highly publicized Sport Illustrated 2011 Swimsuit Edition, where one sexy sheer neon pink one-piece was selected as a two page body paint spread, a high-sought after honor one might say. It is gaining recognition rapidly through fashions most esteemed sources: Elle, Magazine, Marie Claire, Vogue Teen, and Riveria just to name a few. Tavik Swimwear can also add Star Style to its portfolio. Beauties Vanessa Hudgens, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Lisa Rinna have all been spotted frolicking in their favorite designs, and the bright color combos, sporty-yet-sexy styles, and fashion forward detail is what has them all coming back for seconds. As this two-year-old label proves itself worthy of the pages of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition and many other prestigious publications this season, we are sure that Tavik Swimwear has no plans on slowing down any time soon. It has set the bar high this season in terms of design and style, but rest assured the challenge will be met and succeeded in 2012. In the mean time, go get yourself a Tavik bikini!

Designer Paola Robba, designer of Poko Pano, will present Spring/Summer 2012 collection inspired by Brazil and its traditional colors, symbols, plant and wildlife. The 40-piece collection of swimwear and beach apparel is inspired by a timeless theme of the Amazons natural surroundings and includes bikinis, kaftans, mini dresses, shirts, skirts and pantaloon pants. The color palette introduces yellow, brown, red, and green, turquoise, black and white. Reminiscent of the postcard of global tourism. The collection features exotic prints influenced by the Amazonian flora and fauna including bromeliad and giant water lily and tropical delicacies such as guarana, buriti, and pineapple. Paola pays homage to the regions nearly extinct animal life by incorporating the multicolored plume of feathers found on arara birds, the velvety coats of a jaguar and vibrant scales of river species. The brands identity is instantly recognizable for their use of macramé texture, a traditional handicraft by Amazon natives. Highlights from the collection consist of unique elements such as handmade metals, and mixed textures along with the innovative Brazilian handiwork including embroidery and needlepoint blended with local raw material. Each suit is modern and minimalist and designed with exclusive, high-tech fabrics to provide durability and comfort.
