Wedding Dress Collection: Kevan Hall White Label Spring 2011 The Fashion Show: An intimate runway show inside the boutique bridal shop the Mark Ingram Bridal Atelier. So chic! What FS Loves: Drawing inspiration from the red carpet looks he normally designs for Hollywood’s elite, I love the elegance and unique shapes that Kevan Hall created in his spring 2011 collection. Each dress had a personality of its very own and stood out as a striking piece any bride, or Hollywood starlet, would look and feel spectacular in. Beautiful fabrics, incredible construction, and a wide variety of dress silhouettes and styles made this collection one of my favorites of the week!

Blush by Jim Bridal – SS11

The style of the new Jim Hjelm Blush, bridal gown collection, is best defined as one that exemplifies a look of “casual elegance.” The new collection is appropriate for a dressy, but more casual wedding environment, as well as for more traditional religious settings. Blush is U.S manufactured and is designed by JLM’s award-winning Jim Hjelm designer, Francesca Pitera.”Blush embodies a unique modern feel,” said Ms. Pitera. “It imparts a special, soft beauty that takes elements from more elaborate gowns and simplifies them.”She said the gowns have a soft, flowy essence, creating an illusion of quiet glamour more in touch with nature. “These gowns have a sensual, fashion forward quality,” said Ms. Pitera, “that give the bride a unique sense of presence. It’s a look not currently addressed in the market place.”

The new collections were inspired by Europes finest art and architecture, which like the St. Pucchi collections of the past, blend modern innovation with her signature old-world elegance.I was very lucky to spend time with her in-between shows and she is a joy to be with. I spent a great part of last year traveling throughout Europe and when I travel, I find that inspiration, comes through in my collections. Rani said. There is something about capturing the fantasy, unprecedented glamour and elegance; of past societies and putting a modern twist for todays bride. The St. Pucchi collection is one that will always be for a very special bride.
